Summary

Dr. Ahmed Al Kuwaiti is a Quality and Accreditation Associate Professor and Consultant with emphasis on Medical Education, Quality in Healthcare, Hospital Facilities Management Safety (FMS), Patient Safety, and Risk Management. He has worked as an Academician, Researcher, and Supervisor General for the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation, and Director of the Directorate of Quality & Safety at King Fahd Hospital of the University, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (formerly University of Dammam), Saudi Arabia. He is a certified hospital facilities organization and higher education surveyor and trainer on different topics of Performance Improvement models and techniques, Risk Management, Ranking, Environmental Safety and Accreditation by CBAHI, JCI and Canadian Accreditation standards, and NCAAA for Higher Education, as well as leadership and professional development. Dr. Ahmed Al-Kuwaiti is an experienced leader in establishing many organizations and establishments of programs in various Healthcare organizations and Hospital facilities and higher Educational institutions. He is President and Senior Trustee of the Association of Healthcare Professionals (AHCP), United Kingdom (London), and Editorial Board member of three International Journals, namely, International Journal of Medicine (IJM), International Journal of Primary Healthcare (IJPHC), and International London Journal of Primary Care (ILJPC). In addition to these three international journals, he was also appointed as an Editorial Board member for the Healthcare Academician Society (HCAS). As a researcher and public speaker, Dr. Kuwaiti has published three textbooks and over 20 scientific papers. He had also presented lectures, seminars and workshops on Quality, Accreditation, Patient Safety, Professional Development, and Leadership. Dr. Kuwaiti has served Imam Abdulrahman University in multiple capacities and is a member of several prestigious national and international professional organizations in healthcare management and education.
